What do I do if I want to end my stay at Covive?
If you want to end your stay at Covive, you must request your Termination Contract, a document that Covive issues to terminate an inhabitant's contract. It must be notified using the following form:
After this, the Covive team will confirm receipt of your request and it will be processed.
What happens after I request my Termination Agreement
1. You will receive an email with the title "Early Termination", in which the amount that will be reimbursed and the withholdings that will be taken will be broken down.
2. Upon receiving the Early Termination you have 48 hours to sign it, if it is not signed within 48 hours the contract will be canceled and Covive will assume that your stay is still valid until further notice.
3. It is important to read in detail the Terms and Conditions stipulated in the Early Termination form. In case you have any questions, please send a ticket to covive.mx/ayuda and we will support you to solve your doubts.
4. After reading the contract and agreeing, all parties involved must digitally sign the Early Termination.
5. If the refund will be by bank transfer, we will send you the following link to register the required bank details: Bank details.
Security Deposit Withholdings/Penalties:
1. Penalty for days in advance, if the departure date is not notified 30 days in advance, the previous nights not notified will be charged from the deposit.
2. Withholding for rate adjustment 1, if you DO NOT meet the minimum stay, a price adjustment will be made proportional to the time inhabited according to our price table.
3. Withholding for rate adjustment 2, if during the stay at Covive a change of room/house was made, a price adjustment will be made corresponding to the new rate of the new house/room.
How long will it take for my security deposit to be refunded?
The refund process begins the day the inhabitant leaves the house, it may take up to 30 business days for it to be reflected in the bank account provided. We ask you to be patient. The time to refund the deposit varies from the following:
If the refund of the deposit is made to an account with a foreign entity, the period for the refund to be reflected is approximately 30 business days.
If the refund of the deposit is made to an account with a Mexican entity, the period for the refund to be reflected is 10 business days.
If the refund of the deposit is made by Paypal or Stripe, the period for the refund to be reflected is from 5 to 10 business days.
